The AirTrain Jazz Festival series continues this week with The Alon Nechushtan Trio on the AirTrain Jamaica stage. Since moving to New York a few years ago, Alon has toured the U.S, Canada, Europe, Japan, China and Philippines, South America and Brazil, Performing in venues such as Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall,Kennedy Center, Joe’s Pub at the Public Theatre, Central Park Summer Stage, Prospect Park Band Shell, releasing 10 critically acclaimed albums as a soloist. Join us as we pay tribute to Jamaica’s rich jazz history by presenting some of the New York City metropolitan area’s best jazz musicians playing live.

The AirTrain Jazz Festival is a co-production of A Better Jamaica and the Sutphin Boulevard Business Improvement District with the marketing support of the Jamaica Arts Council. The festival is hosted by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The effort is funded by New York Council Members Adrienne Adams, Rory Lancman and I. Daneek Miller, the Queens Council on the Arts, and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
